Many great, well-maintained slopes are waiting for avid skiers and those who want to become avid skiers. Between going down the slopes enjoy a warm drink in one of the inviting chalets to give you energy for further discoveries. Even when you’ve taken you’re skis off you can still see the beautiful views you could whilst skiing.
The Gitschberg Jochtal ski resort offers beautiful views, and we mean that literally! Because of the many wintery scenes you will find it difficult to focus on skiing. You should though, as there are 16 lifts and 44km of well-maintained slopes waiting for skiing fans. This ski resort has nothing in common with a large-ski resort apart from great skiing being available.
The Plose ski resort is, without exaggeration, THE highlight of winter in the Eisack Valley. Of course, there is the opportunity for skiing and tobogganing or setting off on a winter hike elsewhere. However this resort, in particular, has the longest valley run (Trametsch, 9km!) and the longest toboggan run, the RudiRun, to offer to its visitors. These are the perfect conditions for enjoying extended winter fun. A total of 40km of well-maintained slopes attract skiers from all over Europe to this place and there is the excellent panoramic view included as “something extra”.
Since this resort clearly offers variety and fun for both young and old it is particularly popular amongst families. Last but not least, the Plose ski resort is also very easy to reach. It is about 34km from Brenner and just 7km from Brixen. With such little travel time you have more time to spend skiing.
The Kronplatz ski resort is one of 3 in the Puster valley area. It has a lot to offer its visitors such as a modern design, many slopes that are perfectly kept and a direct railway connection. Kronplatz is said to be the best ski slope in South Tyrol and enjoys a reputation around Europe. Visitors have already been convinced of the fun factor in the area because of the varied range and the beautiful views that are, of course, included.
