Sterzing
Sterzing is the northernmost town in South Tyrol, but to show off a little more, Sterzing was also named one of the most beautiful small towns in Italy a few years ago! This town has its own distinct charm. The blend of town houses, picturesque streets, medieval setting and surrounding mountain panorama causes visitors to rave about this alpine town for a long time.
What is there to do in and around Sterzing? Well, this town has a lot to offer to visitors, such as various shops, an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a sauna area, monuments, museums, Rosskopf Mountain and a 7-hole golf course. Also, in winter, ski and toboggan fans get their money’s worth. Sterzing even offers the longest lit toboggan run in Italy. The 9.6km of unbridled fun entices both young and old. You can almost hear the snow crunching under the runners…
